A Good Day

I've been feeling really bad this time around with the pregnancy, as you all know =) Well, on Tuesday I had such a fun day! I've overall been feeling better this week and Tuesday was a good day for all of us. Ryan got to play his heart out at church that morning while I chatted with friends, it RAINED (woo hoo!), had a friend treat me to lunch, both Ryan and I had nice long afternoon naps, and to top it off we went to an Express baseball game for free!

Joe had been given some gift certificates to use so we didn't have to pay for anything, but as we were walking up to buy tickets some guy handed us some free ones through the gate. We of course thanked him and started walking around to watch the guys warm up, and then Joe looked at the tickets and realized they were for a private suite! Wow! Thanks to the kindness of strangers we were able to watch in our own private seating area where Ryan could run around without getting into much trouble and we were actually able to enjoy the game. We even spent a few minutes cooling off in the air conditioned suite, but honestly it was one of the nicest evenings we've had in months since the rain had cooled everything off. We had such a fun time and it was the great way to end a great day. Just had to talk about it since I've been complaining so much lately =)

And on the note of a good day, this video just makes me laugh. Just about every day for the past few weeks Ryan will go into our room and find the drawer with his socks in it (or for variety sometimes mine), bring me a pair and say "socks" until I put the socks on his feet. Remember it's 100 degrees outside! He discovered the other morning how fun it is to run around and slide in his socks. Too funny.

That is funny about the socks. Cute video. That was really nice you were able to sit in the suite at the baseball game. I have seen so many people get hit by balls there. Suites are the way to go!
